U-Report is a UNICEF platform launched in 2011 and used by more than 23 million children and young people in 91 countries. The platform gives young people a chance to express their views on political and social issues that concern them and it acts as a tool to collect data on issues that affect their lives.
Adolescents and youth can register to U-Report Greece anonymously and free of charge and provide answers to the polls via Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp or Viber. Each time an online poll is launched, users will receive notifications on the social media platforms they have registered with. The responses will be analyzed in real-time and displayed on the U-Report Greece website. The results will then be shared with the users and disseminated to political and social actors at national and local levels.
